Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly happening.
